Studio terms

The terms for orders and monthly plans with Inara Creative Studio. Plain language, on purpose.

1. Who we are

“We” means Inara Creative Studio. “You” means the label, artist or person placing the order. Contact: inararecs@gmail.com.

2. Requests and orders

Sending a brief through the shop is a request, not an order. An order exists once you accept our confirmation and pay (or pay the deposit). Our confirmation sets out the items, price, estimated date and anything we changed from your request. Until we confirm, you can change your request from the shop, on the same browser you sent it from.

3. Prices and payment

4. Scope and revisions

Each item covers what its description says, including the stated revision rounds. A round is one set of feedback, sent together, from one person. Changing the brief is a new order. Extra rounds are $25 each, as long as the changes stay within the brief. Anything that grows the scope is quoted before we do it.

5. Your materials

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us, including artwork, photos, fonts, logos and music, and that we may use it for your order. You’re responsible for any claim that arises from materials you supply.

6. Ownership and use

Once you’ve paid in full, you own the final delivered work and may use it without limits. We keep ownership of our tools, code, working methods and anything we made before your order. Fonts and stock assets remain under their own licences.

We may show finished work in our portfolio once the release is public, unless you ask us not to.

7. Dates

Dates are estimates. The turnaround starts once we have payment and all the files we need. Late files or feedback move the date. We tell you as soon as we know of a delay on our side.

8. Monthly plans

9. Cancellations and refunds

10. Freelancers

Some work, mainly illustration and identity, is made with freelancers we trust. We stay responsible for it and for keeping your material private.

11. Confidentiality

Unreleased music, artwork and release plans stay confidential. We never post work before the release is public.

12. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We’re not liable for indirect losses, such as lost streams or sales.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in place when you accept our confirmation.
